Why should we listen to these cats? They fight as well, the idiots. We should just keep traveling and look for an abandoned cave or something. Imp muttered crossly to himelf for a few moments, not noticing the two cats in front of him until he practically walked into them.
He hissed, dropping into a fighting crouch and baring his fangs. "What do you want?"
The young amber cat flicked her black and white spiraled tail. "We have a proposition for you and your brothers. We ask only that you hear us out."
Imp calmed down and sat, tail flicking and eyes darting from cat to cat. "What exactly do you have to say?"

This could work out rather well. Sure, there are a few things that depend on chance, but it's a well thought out plan.
"Flick, Nameless, where's Shade? We need to talk about something."
Nameless perked up at his brother's voice. "Imp, Imp! You're back! Flick and I were just going to leave to get you! Shade should be coming back by sundown. He went with that cat to their Clan, just to check it out and meet their leader... or something like that."
"Good, it works out with what I think we should do. I think we should ask this 'Clan' to take us in for a while, just to get our bearings. I met some cats from the other Clan, and they've asked for a favor. In return, once we complete their favor, they said we can live on their land for as long as we want and are always welcome."

"Finally. I thought I would have to walk forever to find you three." Shade emerged from the bushes, shaking leaves and twigs from his ruffled fur. "That Clan, what did he call it... DripClan? Anyways, they were a little strange. First they were all hostile when they saw me, which was understandable, but then they got all nervous looking and this strange, sour-breathed cat told me to meet her at this thing called the 'Moon Tree' to speak with 'SoulClan'... She also said someone had a proposition for us. Do any of you know what that was about?" he asked, looking at his three brothers.
Imp nodded his head. "I was just exploring that other Clan's territory and these two cats said they wanted a favor from us. In return and after the favor was completed they promised to grant us permission to live on their territory."
Shade blinked in surprise. It was a generous offer no matter how you looked at it, but something bothered him. If the reward was so great, what was the price of carrying out the favor?
I don't want to talk here. We should go to that Moon Tree place for a little privacy. "Alright, lets talk about this at that Moon Tree so that neither of these Clan's cats hear us or attack us for being on their territory."
Flick flicked his ear in agreement and stood, Nameless bouncing around his paws excitedly as Imp gave a small nod and followed his brothers.
"If you scent anything that smells bad, tell me and we'll see if it's her. We can very likely follow her scent trail to the place she was talking about," he muttered, opening his own mouth and drawing a deep breath in.
